Laid out, or dropped off
A high tea "buffet" can mean either of two quite different things, and the word does not distinguish them. One is a table laid out on site: cloth, stands, serving gear, a crew who set it up and come back to collect. The other is a spread delivered ready to put out yourself, with nothing to return.
The laid-out version carries a setup fee of $90, charged once per order whatever the headcount, and the equipment is collected afterwards. The drop-off version does not, and on our own mini buffets the insulated warmer bags are yours to keep.
High tea itself is quoted per order through our partnering vendors rather than priced from a rate card. Tell us which of the two you want when you ask, because it changes the quote more than the food does.
$90 setup fee
Once per order, on the laid-out version. Not charged on drop-off.
Drop-off returns nothing
Insulated bags are yours to keep; the rest is disposable.
Quoted per order
Say which version you want and the quote reflects it.
One day's notice
Subject to vendor availability and, for setup, a free crew slot.
What each version costs
The setup fee and the surcharges are fixed. The food is quoted.
- How it is priced
- A high tea buffet is quoted per order rather than from a published rate card. The price depends on which partnering vendor makes it and what goes on the table, so we put the quote in front of you before anything is committed.
- Getting a price
- Send the date, the headcount, the delivery address and roughly what you want on the table. A specialist comes back with options and prices, usually the same working day.
- Lead time
- One day's notice, subject to vendor availability on your date.
- Same-day orders
- Not something we promise in advance, but we do try. Message us with the date, the headcount and the address, and a specialist will check what is open and come back either way.
- Setup fee
- $90, charged once per order whatever the headcount, on the laid-out version only.
- Drop-off
- No setup fee. Arrives ready to put out, with nothing collected afterwards.
- What we can price today
- A mini buffet — shared trays delivered in insulated warmer bags — is $18 per pax plus $30 delivery at 10–14 pax, $15 with delivery free from 15, $13 from 30 and $10 from 75. Published, and it does not move.
- Changing your order
- Up to 24 hours before delivery.
- Halal
- Halal options are available at the same price. Halal menus come from Muslim-owned stalls, and halal-certified options are available through our partnering vendors on request.
- Surcharges
- $30 for delivery at 9.59am or earlier or 7.31pm or later. $15 for postal codes 71, 63, 09, 50 and 49. $50–$100 per level where there is no lift access.
How ordering works
Book early for popular dates
Our cutoff is one day before your event. In practice, order earlier: festive periods, year-end parties and weekend slots fill up well ahead, and booking early secures both your slot and the dishes you want.
Mini buffet and bento delivery $30
Drop and go: food arrives in insulated warmer bags that are yours to keep, with serving gear, cutlery, plates, bowls, a disposable table cloth and a trash bag. Free on promotional menus above $225.
Buffet delivery and setup $90
One fee covers delivery, a full setup with a skirted table and cloth, warmers, serving gear, disposable plates, cutlery and napkins, and our team returning to collect the equipment after your event.
Changes up to 24 hours before
Adjust your headcount, menu or timing more than 24 hours before your event, subject to availability. Within 24 hours the food and manpower are already committed, so changes and cancellations are normally not accepted and a fee of 50% to 100% of the order may apply.
Additional charges may apply for outlying areas (Tengah, Lim Chu Kang, Tuas, Sentosa, Changi Airport and Alps Avenue), deliveries before 10am or after 7.30pm, and venues without lift access. Every charge is confirmed in your quotation before you pay. See full terms.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a high tea buffet and a high tea delivery?
A buffet is laid out on site by a crew — cloth, stands, serving gear — and the equipment is collected afterwards, for a $90 setup fee charged once per order. A delivery arrives ready to put out yourself with nothing to return. The food can be identical; the service around it is not.
How much is the setup fee?
$90, charged once per order whatever the headcount. It covers the crew who lay the table out and the return trip to collect the equipment. Drop-off orders do not carry it.
How do I get a price?
Send the date, the headcount, the delivery address and roughly what you want on the table, either through the planner or on WhatsApp. A specialist comes back with vendor options and prices, usually the same working day.
How much notice do you need?
One day, subject to vendor availability on your date. Most catering in Singapore asks for three to five working days. Same-day orders are not something we promise in advance, but we do try to make them happen — message us and a specialist will check what is open.
Can it be halal?
Yes. Halal menus come from Muslim-owned stalls, and halal-certified options are available through our partnering vendors on request. Select halal in the planner and only halal options are shown.
Do I need to return anything?
On a drop-off order, no — the insulated warmer bags are yours to keep and everything else is disposable. A setup with chafing stands uses equipment that is collected afterwards.
How far in advance should I order catering?
The latest we can take an order is one day before your event. We recommend booking earlier than that: popular dates such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Christmas and the year-end party season are taken weeks ahead, and ordering early secures your slot and the dishes you want. For large events, the earlier the better.
Is there a delivery fee?
Delivery is free on mini buffet and bento orders of $225 or more before GST. Below that it is $30, and a 10 pax order always carries the fee whatever the order comes to. On the entry-level mini buffet menus $225 is reached at 15 pax. A buffet with setup instead carries a $90 setup fee, charged once per order, which covers delivery, laying out the buffet line and collecting the equipment afterwards. Remote postal codes, deliveries at 9.59am or earlier or 7.31pm or later, and venues without lift access can add a surcharge on top; every one is published and appears in your quotation before you confirm.
What is included with the food?
Mini buffet orders are drop and go: the food arrives in insulated warmer bags that are yours to keep, with serving gear, cutlery, plates, bowls, a disposable table cloth and a trash bag, so you can bag everything up and bin it after your event. Bento meals come individually boxed with cutlery. Buffet with setup includes a skirted table and cloth, warmers, serving gear, disposable plates, cutlery and napkins, and our team returns to collect the equipment.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, with more than 24 hours' notice before your event, subject to availability. Within 24 hours the food and manpower are already committed, so changes and cancellations are normally not accepted and a fee of 50% to 100% of the order may apply.
