Why churches keep coming back

Church catering has its own rules: a budget set by the church office, a crowd that ranges from toddlers to grandparents, a serving window squeezed between services, and dietary needs across the congregation.

Because your menu comes from multiple food stalls rather than one central kitchen, you get more variety at the same price. Tell the menu planner your headcount, budget per pax and serving time, and swap any dish before you confirm.

  • Budget-friendly by design

Set your budget per pax and the menu is matched to it, not the other way round.

  • Non-halal dishes available

Pork dishes such as roasted pork and char siew, from our partnering non-halal vendors.

  • Built for big congregations

Buffets, mini buffets or individually packed bentos, for groups of over a thousand guests.

  • Delivered around your services

Tell us your service times. 99% on-time delivery across 972,000 meals.

What we cater

From Sunday lunch to the Christmas service

  • Sunday fellowship lunch. Feed the congregation between or after services, with a spread that suits every age group.
  • Cell and small group meals. Smaller orders for weekday groups, Bible study and prayer meetings.
  • Christmas and Easter services. Larger spreads for festive services and outreach events, planned weeks ahead.
  • Church camps and retreats. Multiple meals across several days, delivered to your venue.
  • Baptisms, dedications and anniversaries. Celebration meals for members and their families.
  • Volunteer and ministry appreciation. Thank-you meals for the people who keep everything running.

Before you order

How ordering works

  • Book early for popular dates

Our cutoff is one day before your event. In practice, order earlier: festive periods, year-end parties and weekend slots fill up well ahead, and booking early secures both your slot and the dishes you want.

  • Mini buffet and bento delivery $30

Drop and go: food arrives in insulated warmer bags that are yours to keep, with serving gear, cutlery, plates, bowls, a disposable table cloth and a trash bag. Free on promotional menus above $225.

  • Buffet delivery and setup $90

One fee covers delivery, a full setup with a skirted table and cloth, warmers, serving gear, disposable plates, cutlery and napkins, and our team returning to collect the equipment after your event.

  • Changes up to 24 hours before

Adjust your headcount, menu or timing more than 24 hours before your event, subject to availability. Within 24 hours the food and manpower are already committed, so changes and cancellations are normally not accepted and a fee of 50% to 100% of the order may apply.

Additional charges may apply for outlying areas (Tengah, Lim Chu Kang, Tuas, Sentosa, Changi Airport and Alps Avenue), deliveries before 10am or after 7.30pm, and venues without lift access. Every charge is confirmed in your quotation before you pay. See full terms.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you cater for churches in Singapore?

Yes. Churches are one of our fastest-growing groups of customers, and over 70 churches across Singapore have ordered from us. We cater Sunday fellowship lunches, cell groups, church camps, Christmas and Easter services, baptisms and anniversaries.

How much does church catering cost?

It depends on your headcount, format and menu, and the per-pax price drops as your group gets bigger: large orders can go as low as $7 per pax for bento and $10 per pax for buffets. Orders start from 10 pax. Churches tell us our prices fit their budgets because menus come from multiple food stalls rather than one central kitchen. See your exact price in 60 seconds at plan.living.menu.

Can you serve non-halal dishes such as pork?

Yes. Our partnering non-halal vendors prepare pork dishes such as roasted pork, char siew and pork ribs, which many churches ask for and halal-only caterers cannot provide.

Can you cater a halal menu for a church event?

Yes. Halal menus come from Muslim-owned stalls, and halal-certified menus are available through our partnering vendors on request. Vegetarian options are available too. Halal and non-halal dishes are prepared and delivered separately.

Can you cater for a large congregation?

Yes. We regularly cater for large groups, including services and events with over a thousand guests. Tell us your headcount and serving time and we will plan portions and delivery around it.

Can you deliver between two services?

Yes. Tell us your service times and we will schedule delivery and setup around them, so food is ready when the congregation comes out.

What formats work best for churches?

Buffets with food warmers suit fellowship lunches and festive services. Mini buffets suit small groups. Individually packed bentos suit camps, outreach and takeaway after service, and they cut down on queueing and leftovers.

Can you invoice the church office?

Yes. We can issue an invoice to the church, which many of our church customers use for recurring monthly orders.

Who prepares the food?

Livingmenu is a multi-vendor catering solution provider. We partner with hawkers, chef-run food shops and caterers, then plan, coordinate and deliver your menu so you get one order, one delivery and one invoice.

How far in advance should I order catering?

The latest we can take an order is one day before your event. We recommend booking earlier than that: popular dates such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Christmas and the year-end party season are taken weeks ahead, and ordering early secures your slot and the dishes you want. For large events, the earlier the better.

Is there a delivery fee?

Delivery is $30 on mini buffet orders below our promotional threshold and free on promotional menus above $225, which in practice means free from 15 pax upwards. Our bento promotional menus include delivery at every tier. Buffet with setup is $90, which covers delivery, setting up the buffet line and collecting the equipment afterwards. Additional charges may apply for outlying areas, deliveries before 10am or after 7.30pm, and venues without lift access. Every charge is confirmed in your quotation.

What is included with the food?

Mini buffet orders are drop and go: the food arrives in insulated warmer bags that are yours to keep, with serving gear, cutlery, plates, bowls, a disposable table cloth and a trash bag, so you can bag everything up and bin it after your event. Bento meals come individually boxed with cutlery. Buffet with setup includes a skirted table and cloth, warmers, serving gear, disposable plates, cutlery and napkins, and our team returns to collect the equipment.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, with more than 24 hours' notice before your event, subject to availability. Within 24 hours the food and manpower are already committed, so changes and cancellations are normally not accepted and a fee of 50% to 100% of the order may apply.
