The one night of the year people notice the food

A D&D is the event where the catering is actually looked at rather than eaten in passing, which usually means a served buffet line and a menu a level or two above the everyday one.

Rates are $20 per pax from 30, $15 from 45, $13 from 75 and $10 from 150, plus the flat $90 setup fee. The higher menu levels — $25, $30 and $45 — are where the premium dishes sit, and they open up almost the whole swap catalogue.

  • Served buffet line

Skirted table, chafing warmers, serving gear, set up and collected for $90.

  • From $10 per pax

At 150 pax and above on the entry-level menu.

  • Premium menu levels

    $25, $30 and $45 menus open 82 to 89 free swaps.

  • Book months ahead

Year-end dates are the most contested of the year.

Menu level

Where to spend on a D&D

The dish count does not change much between menu levels — what changes is what the dishes are and how much of the catalogue you can reach for free. On the $30 and $45 menus almost every replacement is free, so the line can be built around what your people actually like rather than what the set menu says.

For a Malay or halal D&D, the $45 halal Malay menu is the one most companies order: beef rendang, chicken satay, baked seabass, prawns and sup kambing.

  • Ayam Masak Merah
  • Slow Cooked Beef Rendang With Shallot And Red Chilli Redish
  • Baked Chilean Seabass (Snow Cod)
  • Lemak Chilli Padi Prawns With Pineapple
  • Sup Kambing Pekat | Stew Kambing
  • Sayur Lodeh
  • Wok Fried Broccoli With Carrots In Egg Drop Sauce
  • Chicken Satay
  • Golden Begedil
  • Blue Pea Egg Fried Rice With Seasonal Greens
  • Bee Hoon Goreng with Green Vegetables
  • Pulut Hitam (Hot)
Timing

Booking a year-end dinner

November and December are the most contested dates in our calendar, and the venues are booked before the catering is. Once you have the venue, book the food.

One day before is the formal cutoff, but for a D&D that is not a plan — the menu you want will not be available at that notice on a peak date.

Before you order

How ordering works

  • Book early for popular dates

Our cutoff is one day before your event. In practice, order earlier: festive periods, year-end parties and weekend slots fill up well ahead, and booking early secures both your slot and the dishes you want.

  • Buffet delivery and setup $90

One fee covers delivery, a full setup with a skirted table and cloth, warmers, serving gear, disposable plates, cutlery and napkins, and our team returning to collect the equipment after your event.

  • Changes up to 24 hours before

Adjust your headcount, menu or timing more than 24 hours before your event, subject to availability. Within 24 hours the food and manpower are already committed, so changes and cancellations are normally not accepted and a fee of 50% to 100% of the order may apply.

Additional charges may apply for outlying areas (Tengah, Lim Chu Kang, Tuas, Sentosa, Changi Airport and Alps Avenue), deliveries before 10am or after 7.30pm, and venues without lift access. Every charge is confirmed in your quotation before you pay. See full terms.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much is D&D catering in Singapore?

A buffet with setup is $20 per pax from 30 pax, $15 from 45, $13 from 75 and $10 from 150, plus the flat $90 setup fee. Premium menu levels at $25, $30 and $45 per pax are available at every size.

When should we book our company dinner catering?

As soon as the venue is confirmed. November and December are the busiest dates of our year and the premium menus go first.

Can the menu be halal for the whole dinner?

Yes. Halal menus come from Muslim-owned stalls and halal-certified menus are available through our partnering vendors on request. For a shared line we set the whole line halal rather than mix.

Do you provide service staff?

The setup fee covers the line being set up and collected, not staff standing behind it — the buffet is self-service. Tell us if you need something different and we will see what our partnering vendors can do.

How far in advance should we book?

One day before is the latest we can take an order. We recommend booking earlier: the dates companies want most — quarter ends, year-end, festive weeks — are taken weeks ahead, and ordering early secures both the slot and the menu.

Can you invoice the company?

Yes. Tell us the billing entity and any PO reference when you order and the invoice is raised against it. Recurring orders can be consolidated rather than invoiced one by one.

How far in advance should I order catering?

The latest we can take an order is one day before your event. We recommend booking earlier than that: popular dates such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Christmas and the year-end party season are taken weeks ahead, and ordering early secures your slot and the dishes you want. For large events, the earlier the better.

Is there a delivery fee?

Delivery is $30 on mini buffet orders below our promotional threshold and free on promotional menus above $225, which in practice means free from 15 pax upwards. Our bento promotional menus include delivery at every tier. Buffet with setup is $90, which covers delivery, setting up the buffet line and collecting the equipment afterwards. Additional charges may apply for outlying areas, deliveries before 10am or after 7.30pm, and venues without lift access. Every charge is confirmed in your quotation.

What is included with the food?

Mini buffet orders are drop and go: the food arrives in insulated warmer bags that are yours to keep, with serving gear, cutlery, plates, bowls, a disposable table cloth and a trash bag, so you can bag everything up and bin it after your event. Bento meals come individually boxed with cutlery. Buffet with setup includes a skirted table and cloth, warmers, serving gear, disposable plates, cutlery and napkins, and our team returns to collect the equipment.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, with more than 24 hours' notice before your event, subject to availability. Within 24 hours the food and manpower are already committed, so changes and cancellations are normally not accepted and a fee of 50% to 100% of the order may apply.
