Popiah catering in Singapore
Not a standard item on our menus, so it is sourced through partnering vendors and quoted per order. The decision that matters is whether it arrives wrapped or gets rolled at the table.

Wrapped, or rolled at the table
Popiah has a timing problem that almost nothing else on this site has. A skin that has been wrapped around wet filling for an hour has gone soft, and no amount of care in the kitchen fixes that once it is on a tray in a car.
So there are really two orders. Pre-wrapped rolls, delivered ready to eat, which work when people will eat within a short window of delivery. Or a roll-your-own setup, where the skins, filling and condiments arrive separately and guests assemble their own — which holds indefinitely, feeds a room that drifts in over an hour, and tends to be the thing people remember about the party.
The roll-your-own version needs table space and someone to lay it out, so tell us the venue as well as the headcount. Popiah is not a standard item on our menus, so it comes from partnering vendors and is quoted per order — send the date, the headcount, the address and which of the two you want, and a specialist comes back with options and prices, usually the same working day.

Ordering popiah catering
The ordering facts are fixed. The popiah itself is quoted.
- How it is priced
- Popiah is quoted per order rather than from a published rate card, because it comes from a partnering vendor rather than our own promotional menus.
- Getting a price
- Send the date, the headcount, the delivery address and what you want. A specialist comes back with options and prices, usually the same working day.
- Lead time
- One day's notice, subject to vendor availability on your date.
- Same-day orders
- Not something we promise in advance, but we do try. Message us and a specialist will check what is open and come back either way.
- Wrapped or roll-your-own
- Pre-wrapped rolls should be eaten within a short window of delivery, because the skin softens against the filling. A roll-your-own setup keeps the components separate and holds for as long as you need it to.
- Table space
- A roll-your-own setup needs a table to lay the components out on, and someone to set it up. Tell us the venue along with the headcount.
- Changing your order
- Up to 24 hours before delivery.
- What we can price today
- A mini buffet of local favourites is $18 per pax plus $30 delivery at 10–14 pax, $15 with delivery free from 15, $13 from 30 and $10 from 75. Published, and it does not move.
- Halal
- Halal options are available. Halal menus come from Muslim-owned stalls; certified options through our partnering vendors on request.
- Surcharges
- $30 for delivery at 9.59am or earlier or 7.31pm or later. $15 for postal codes 71, 63, 09, 50 and 49. $50–$100 per level where there is no lift access.
How ordering works
Book early for popular dates
Our cutoff is one day before your event. In practice, order earlier: festive periods, year-end parties and weekend slots fill up well ahead, and booking early secures both your slot and the dishes you want.
Mini buffet and bento delivery $30
Drop and go: food arrives in insulated warmer bags that are yours to keep, with serving gear, cutlery, plates, bowls, a disposable table cloth and a trash bag. Free on promotional menus above $225.
Buffet delivery and setup $90
One fee covers delivery, a full setup with a skirted table and cloth, warmers, serving gear, disposable plates, cutlery and napkins, and our team returning to collect the equipment after your event.
Changes up to 24 hours before
Adjust your headcount, menu or timing more than 24 hours before your event, subject to availability. Within 24 hours the food and manpower are already committed, so changes and cancellations are normally not accepted and a fee of 50% to 100% of the order may apply.
Additional charges may apply for outlying areas (Tengah, Lim Chu Kang, Tuas, Sentosa, Changi Airport and Alps Avenue), deliveries before 10am or after 7.30pm, and venues without lift access. Every charge is confirmed in your quotation before you pay. See full terms.

Frequently asked questions
Do you cater popiah in Singapore?
Yes, though it is not a standard item on our menus — it comes through our partnering vendors and is quoted per order rather than priced from our published rate card. Send the date, headcount and address and a specialist comes back with options and prices, usually the same working day.
Should I order popiah pre-wrapped or roll-your-own?
Pre-wrapped if people will eat within a short window of delivery. Roll-your-own if guests arrive across an hour, or if you want it to hold — the skins, filling and condiments stay separate until each person assembles their own, so nothing goes soft while it waits. Roll-your-own needs table space and someone to lay it out.
How much does popiah catering cost?
It is quoted per order, because it is not a standard menu item and the price depends on the vendor and which format you choose. For a published comparison, a mini buffet of local favourites is $18 per pax plus $30 delivery at 10–14 pax and $15 with delivery free from 15.
Will pre-wrapped popiah still be good an hour later?
Not as good. The skin softens against the filling, which is the whole reason the roll-your-own setup exists. If there is any doubt about the timing, order it as components rather than as finished rolls.
How much notice do you need?
One day, subject to vendor availability on your date. Most catering in Singapore asks for three to five working days. Same-day orders are not something we can promise in advance, but we do try to make them happen. Message us with the date, the headcount and where it is going, and a specialist will check what is open and come back to you either way.
Can the menu be halal?
Yes, at the same price. Halal menus come from Muslim-owned stalls, and halal-certified menus are available through our partnering vendors on request. Select halal in the planner and only halal menus are shown.
How far in advance should I order catering?
The latest we can take an order is one day before your event. We recommend booking earlier than that: popular dates such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Christmas and the year-end party season are taken weeks ahead, and ordering early secures your slot and the dishes you want. For large events, the earlier the better.
Is there a delivery fee?
Delivery is free on mini buffet and bento orders of $225 or more before GST. Below that it is $30, and a 10 pax order always carries the fee whatever the order comes to. On the entry-level mini buffet menus $225 is reached at 15 pax. A buffet with setup instead carries a $90 setup fee, charged once per order, which covers delivery, laying out the buffet line and collecting the equipment afterwards. Remote postal codes, deliveries at 9.59am or earlier or 7.31pm or later, and venues without lift access can add a surcharge on top; every one is published and appears in your quotation before you confirm.
What is included with the food?
Mini buffet orders are drop and go: the food arrives in insulated warmer bags that are yours to keep, with serving gear, cutlery, plates, bowls, a disposable table cloth and a trash bag, so you can bag everything up and bin it after your event. Bento meals come individually boxed with cutlery. Buffet with setup includes a skirted table and cloth, warmers, serving gear, disposable plates, cutlery and napkins, and our team returns to collect the equipment.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, with more than 24 hours' notice before your event, subject to availability. Within 24 hours the food and manpower are already committed, so changes and cancellations are normally not accepted and a fee of 50% to 100% of the order may apply.
