Cheap mini buffet catering: what the rates actually are

Our lowest entry-level rate is $10 per pax, which applies from 75 pax upwards. Below that it is $13 from 30 pax, $15 from 15 and $18 plus $30 delivery at 10 to 14 pax.

No. The entry-level menu carries the same number of dishes as the higher levels — seven at 10 pax and eight from 15 pax. What changes as you move up is how premium the dishes are and how much of the swap list is free.

No. The ones that exist are published: $15 for outlying areas, $30 for deliveries before 10am or after 7.30pm, and $50 to $100 per level where there is no lift. All of them appear in your quotation before you confirm.

Order at or above a tier boundary. 15, 30 and 75 pax are where the rate drops, and the difference can be small: 15 pax costs $15 more than 10 pax and feeds five more people.

The latest we can take an order is one day before your event. We recommend booking earlier than that: popular dates such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Christmas and the year-end party season are taken weeks ahead, and ordering early secures your slot and the dishes you want. For large events, the earlier the better.

Delivery is $30 on mini buffet orders below our promotional threshold and free on promotional menus above $225, which in practice means free from 15 pax upwards. Our bento promotional menus include delivery at every tier. Buffet with setup is $90, which covers delivery, setting up the buffet line and collecting the equipment afterwards. Additional charges may apply for outlying areas, deliveries before 10am or after 7.30pm, and venues without lift access. Every charge is confirmed in your quotation.

Mini buffet orders are drop and go: the food arrives in insulated warmer bags that are yours to keep, with serving gear, cutlery, plates, bowls, a disposable table cloth and a trash bag, so you can bag everything up and bin it after your event. Bento meals come individually boxed with cutlery. Buffet with setup includes a skirted table and cloth, warmers, serving gear, disposable plates, cutlery and napkins, and our team returns to collect the equipment.

Yes, with more than 24 hours' notice before your event, subject to availability. Within 24 hours the food and manpower are already committed, so changes and cancellations are normally not accepted and a fee of 50% to 100% of the order may apply.
