About the Dish Designer
Cooking runs in Hwei Min’s family as she grew up watching her mother and grandmother cook. Having always been inspired by her mother’s cooking, she delved into homecooking when she bought her first home in her early 30s. Scouring the internet for recipes and watching food programmes for inspiration, she dabbles in Japanese-Italian fusion cooking and mainly Chinese and Singaporean cuisine. She likes using lemongrass and pandan for the fragrance that is the hallmark of Southeast Asian cuisine. As a stay-at-home-mum with an infant, she whips up meals that are rich in protein and omega goodness for the obvious health benefits.
